It is time for the last Dinner With Daisy Club Night of the year before we hibernate over winter! Once again we invite you over to the atmospheric east London haunt that is Jamboree on Cable St in Limehouse, for an evening of music, film, poetry and art to end your weekend in style and make the beginning of your week just a little bit easier!
We are delighted to have back the amazing Dimbleby & Capper, who this time brings her full band and dancers for what promises to be a great show; Mette Bille will mesmerize us with her soothing electro-pop; we will be captivated by Nina Pottell and her poetry; we are also privileged to take part of the work of Linbury Prize 2011 finalist Ellan Parry, who will exhibit her designs; and we will be treated to a short acoustic set by French For Cartridge as the doors open! Finally, Icons of Elegance and KawaKawa DJs will spin some suitably relaxed Sunday-tunes for your enjoyment all in the surroundings of the fantastic Jamboree.
In order to get everyone early to bed on a Sunday night, doors are at 6.30, which is also when the music starts with the last live act on stage at 9 DJs until 11 for those who want to carry on.

This time will see the return of Sibylla Meienberg and her amazing one-woman theatre show; French For Cartridge will preview an exclusive set of new songs from their forthcoming album; Kaz Simmons, who just released the wonderfully ethereal and summery ‘Dandelions’, will treat us to a solo set; also making a return is Alexia Anastasiadis, who will this time showcase some of her beautiful art; Brasswire will do what brass octets do and blow you away! Yes, oh yes!! It’s time for the first Dinner With Daisy Club Night of the year! You can once again make your way over to your favourite east London haunt, Jamboree on Cable St, for an evening of music, film and poetry to end your weekend in style and make the beginning of your week just a little bit easier!
Here’s what you can expect: Royal Treatment Plant, whom you may know from their recent and rather brilliant “All That’s Left” single or from providing the theme tune to Channel 4’s On Track, are taking a break from their SXSW preparations to give us a very special acoustic set; legendary experimental composer and Scratch Orchestra founder Michael Parsons will treat us to some of his music; the excellent drum and flute duo Zashiki Warashi will entertain you with their danceable inventiveness; Dorna Aslanzadeh, one of the French For Cartridge “Liquorice” video artists, presents her new short film; story-teller extraordinaire Alexia Anastasiadis will keep you enchanted with her readings. Finally, French For Cartridge DJs will spin some suitably relaxed Sunday-tunes for your enjoyment all in the surroundings of the fantastic establishment that is Jamboree, who now also serve delicious tapas in case you’re hungry.

We have reached the fourth and final Dinner With Daisy Club Night of the year and have once again cooked up a suitably grand evening of music, art and theatre to end your weekend in style and make the beginning of your week just a little bit easier!
This time it’s all about rhythm and wind instruments, well at least mostly: we’re very happy to have Chick Budo and their double-sax-pronged punk-funk machine with us; and from Luxembourg via Strasbourg, saxophonist Roby Glod will join une cartouche for a set of free improvisation as well as a few French For Cartridge songs as you have not heard them before; beatbox and vocal wizard Rogue Swan will present his new song based project; Ranko Andjelic will show his work mixing video animation and home-made electronica; and Keiko Sumida will stage her theatre piece “What comes out of women?” Finally, Icons of Elegance has prepared some suitably relaxed Sunday-tunes to spin for your enjoyment all in the surroundings of our favourite east London establishment Jamboree, who now also serve delicious tapas in case you’re hungry.

To coincide with London Fashion Week we are very pleased to present the next Dinner With Daisy Night together with our favourite fashion designers House of Boing! You can once again expect a mixture of music, art and theatre to end your weekend in style and ease you into the new week this time wrapped in fabulous House of Boing dresses and scenography.
To celebrate the vinyl release of their recent album ‘Liquorice’, we will have a set from French For Cartridge; songstress Greta Lange and her concertina will provide us with a different take on folk music; Tiffany Charrington will present her live theatre installation I Shall See Your Houses and video artists Ebba Erikzon and Ryuta Suzuki will screen videos made for Dinner With Daisy artists Icons of Elegance and French For Cartridge as well as their other work. Finally, KawaKawa will spin some suitably relaxed Sunday-tunes for you - all in the surroundings of our favourite east London establishment Jamboree.

After a very successful premiere last month, Dinner With Daisy Records is proud to present its second label night at the hidden gem that is Jamboree!
Once again we’ll do our very best to serve you with a varied set of events mixing up music, poetry and whatever else we can think of! This time you’ll be able to enjoy a rare London performance from Scandinavian tunemeisters Icons of Elegance, KawaKawa will take a break from recording his debut album to bring you some folky yet quirky tunes, Danny Standing will premiere a new work by Catherine Kontz for solo baritone and 6 transistor radios, Tim Parkinson & Angharad Davies will draw you into their world of soundscapes and improvisations and Nina Potell will keep you mesmerized with her poetry. As if that wasn’t enough you’ll also have the pleasure to enjoy the svelte one spinning some suitably relaxed Sunday-evening tunes and there will be a screening of videos made especially for the release of the latest French For Cartridge album.

Dinner With Daisy Records is proud to present its first label night at Jamboree in Cable Street Studios!
As a label that serves as an umbrella for various art forms it’s only fitting that you’ll get a varied and fun programme of events! This first instalment is based around solo performances we have the vocal wizardry of beat-boxer Deej Walde, a solo set from Huw Stephens-favourite Dimbleby & Capper and a one-woman-play by actress Sibylla Meienberg. To top it all off, we’ll serve a full band set by label founders and art-pop deviants French For Cartridge as well as an Icons of Elegance DJ set. House of Boing will provide the suitably fashionable dresses for the evening!
