Kim Bevan
Kim Bevan makes small delicate book works designed to create feelings of fascination and curiosity within a viewer. The pieces vary, from work which incorporates personal experiences, and more recently playful work using poetry and narrative. Through exploring different binding methods the books offer unconventional elements that provoke the need for an interaction between the book and its viewer beyond the act of reading. Whilst some are quite open and fully accessible, others are only viewable from particular angles or when twisted and turned in a particular way.
