Reclaimed Romance.
Forgotten objects that have been left in the weather to slowly get worn by
nature and so become one with nature taking the romantic notions of Wordsworth
and Coleridge. My work involves taking these forgotten objects that are being
thrown out and inserting them into books, that can be taken with you where ever
you go.
The book featured in the photograph uses the sample work of an artist, Martin
Clements, who used copper and fire to express the sublimb and romantic ideals of
the Lake District.
